Containerised Storage
It is sometimes difficult to synchronize
selling a house and buying a new one. Or maybe you are moving
abroad and don’t want to take your furniture. Or simply
just clearing our that spare room. There is an easy and cost
effective solution!
If you have a gap of a few days or weeks before you can move
into your new home, we offer a containerised storage solution
here at our Kent location. Our modern 14,000 square feet warehouse
is adjacent to our offices and is alarmed and secure at all
times.
We can load your effects into special wooden containers at
your home, transport them to our warehouse to be simply lifted
off and stored until you need them. At all times, the containers
are sealed shut and are securely stored so you can just leave
them there indefinitely until you need delivery.
We can arrange for access to your containers for examination
or part-retrieval if necessary and you can store for as short
or as long a period as you need as you will only be charged
for the time you are actually occupying our storage containers.
When you need them back, we load the containers onto our
special trucks and bring them back to your home for unloading.
By using
this method, there is no additional handling of your furniture
even though they have effectively moved twice.
We store in secure wooden containers measuring 7' deep, 5'
wide and 8' high - as a rough guide, a 3 bedroomed house
might occupy 4 to 6 containers. Should you wish to bring
your own
effects into storage we can of course accommodate this by
arrangement.
